THe battles of lexington & concord
The first battle was fought on April 19, 1775. This battle kicked off the American Revolution. On the night of April 18, 1775, hudreds of British troops marched from Boston to Concord, ready for battle. Once noticed, Paul revere and other riders sounded the alarm. Soon patriots were ready to attack and defend. The patriots confronted the British at Lexington, and soon battle was struck. The British fought hard, but the patriot were picking up, and soon the british were forced to retreat.
